Civil forum

In 2013, the AGES Association organized a citizens' forum organized by the Ratiu Center for Democracy. The forum took place more than a year after the start of Dr. Coica Dorel’s term as mayor. The event was held on November 18, 2013 in the Meeting Room of the City Hall of Satu Mare.

The forum is "Your vote, your future matters!" was part of a series of activities in the project. carried out jointly with the Democracy Rationale Center, the Public Participation Resource Center and the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, with the aim of supporting a dialogue between citizens and candidates and then between citizens and local elected officials on Community priorities. At the forum, the mayor of the town was invited to meet with the citizens of the city to discuss promises made or not fulfilled in the election campaign since the election.

Such forums were organized in other settlements of Transylvania: Cluj-Napoca, Turda, Oradea, Câmpia Turzi, Ploscoş, Mihai Viteazu, Satu Mare, Baia Mare and Zilah.
