Rotary Supports Local Initiatives in Satu Mare - 3rd Edition

During 2018-2019, the Satu Mare Rotary Club Association implemented the 3rd edition of the funding program "Rotary supports local initiatives for Satu Mare", organized by the AGES Association

The purpose of the program is to promote cooperation and mutual understanding between community members, support the educational process, reduce poverty and improve living conditions for disadvantaged groups, preserve and promote local values, harmonious development of children and young people, protect the environment - all this by involving a number as many citizens as possible.

The objectives of the Program for the 2018-2019 session were:

1. The harmonious development of children and young people through activities that promote a healthy lifestyle: sports and movement in general, closeness to nature, healthy eating, etc.
2. Access to quality social services for children and young people at risk.
3. Increasing the quality of children's education and training (including in the informal system).

The program budget for 2018: 24,000 RON.
Maximum amount financed per project: 6,000 LEI.
Funding rate under the program: 100%.
Number of funded projects: 3
Estimated number of direct beneficiaries: over 1,000 people.
The total budget of the contracted projects: 29,975.50 RON
Total amount contracted: 17,915 RON
